Interesting illusion to say the least tho I'd have preferred the photo to be in landscape because the ceiling is really nothing interesting to look at. Also it's a tiny bit underexposed in the dark areas on the left side of the pic. Cut away the ceiling and a bit from the bottom of the pic and it's fine.

3/10 Don't hate me for this but I really don't like it. I'm not sure what it is at all and it just looks like a blue blur to me, maybe just personal preference but that's my opinion.

This is a photo of my local church, despite the flag it is not in Scotland!

8/10. I really like the subject. I think the focus is also great. I do think that a little more depth would be nice. Some people in the foreground would look good.

I had to compress the image to allow it to upload. Sorry for the grain. That is not in the original image. Sorry for the detail loss.

Yea, I might reattempt the shot with a higher shutterspeed. Fun fact: It's actually carrot juice being stirred up with a spoon and an LED lamp behind the glass.

The composition is off on the flower pictures. Cutting the edges of the flowers off distracts from the image, and it makes it straining to look at. As for the STOP sign, please never use that angle again...

The composition is the actual picture and the arrangement of what is in it. Where the flowers are abruptly cut off, it makes it distracting and unappealing for an unappealing picture. If you had zoomed out 10 or so mm, and got the whole flower the picture would be a lot better. Also, it seems as if the resolution is a bit low...

I believe i had it on the highest JPEG setting, i dont shoot in RAW because i dont have any photoshop. I left if on AF that day which may have been a mistake.

As nobody was posting pictures:

The edges of the flower could be a bit more in focus, but I'm using a Helios 44m-4 lens on a Nikon 1, and the aperture is stuck on f/2 until I so some fiddling (means very shallow depth of field).14171223605_7b37d44120_o.jpg

Very nice. The flower definitely stands out against the background even though the background has a lot going on. The only thing I would have liked to see is maybe the stem, so that there was something in between how sharp the flower is and how soft the background is.

Ah, I didnt notice because I just rated the most recent photo instead. You're right about the noise/blur but other than that I would try to not cut her toes out of the picture and possibly bump the contrast up just a tad.

Whilst I like the subject and the black and white seems to work well, I would prefer the entire object to be in focus (the left side seems out of focus). 8/10

A little late to the party with the flower photo but here goes:
