Kraken G10 vs Waterblock

You guys think I'd get any better temps if I bought a waterblock for my 290x? My core temp is at 67C and my VRM temps are all over the place when I benchmark (depends how long I benchmark) and are around 88C when gaming.

My core clock atm is at 1250MHz, RAM is at 1585MHz, power is +40 and the v-core is +13.

My card can go further overclocking wise but when the VRM's hit 95C when benching I always stop (no stuttering or artifacts btw)

Would a waterblock bring these temps down?

I'm using an H90 on the core

Yes waterblocks are always better. But then you need to spend $500+ on an entire watercooling loop.

Nah, $100 for block, and I'd get an H220X and another rad. Shouldn't be over $300

You temps depend on the surface area of rads that you use. So yes 4x120mm rads will perform better than any AiO.

The question is why? If you have to spend $300+ just to overclock a GPU to get another 5% more performance, why not just spend some more coin and get a second card? Of course this is only valid if the reason for watercooling is strictly for the ability to OC and not for less noise and aesthetics.
