Please tell me they aren't counting people with only one post there are so many of them. I guess there is a possibility they just made the account because they didn't have one, but I'm willing to bet that some people are just spamming accounts.

Well I'm guessing if you've read my previous profile update I suggested that. Don't repost it (not that it's against coc or anything) but it's annoying especially of how many scrubbish updates I'm getting following it.

Why are you following it?! I have it set to automagically follow threads that I post in, but I unfollowed immediately (and still got 5+ notifications).

Hey, I was just always too lazy to make an account. The contest pushed me to do it, but I'd been planning to for weeks.

You know what, as a reasonable person thinks I really should but I just can't be asked. Yeah I'm getting myself on the edge by following a thread with nearly 10'000+ post as of the first day. I will just go back and delete all of the pages in my notification which is nothing but blatant spam in that thread.

Or just ignore them. When I posted on the first page of the CM giveaway, there was like 700 notifications waiting. But I just ignored them.

It kinda would. Even if I posted last, I would still get notifications, but at least I wouldn't get as much as if I were to sign up the first page.

They should make it so those with a registry date before the contest video went up would count. Because I can make a bunch of new gmail accounts and sign up to increase my chances of winning.

Sure you might argue that I can just make 20 accounts and havve more chance, but in reality a lot of those accounts are legit because they see "Oh I can win a phone if I finally join the stupid forum linus always talks about" So there really is no way of knowing if the account is legit, linus as an admin can see their IPs so maybe he can check if the IP is repeated once or twice
