Corsair 900D build! Under Red Water

Sulfatron

Hi all!

This is my first post on this forum, I've been following Linus & Slick for a little while now and have decided to join this great forum!! Lots of nice threads :)  and very nice builds..

I'm one of the lucky ones who managed to score a 900D on Corsair's website when they did a flash sale about a month ago, all I can say is that this case is unbelievably good and is somehow close to perfection when it come to water cooling.

I've gone for a red/black theme with a touch of titanium/grey, mainly EK fittings and water cooling parts where used for this build.

As you can see, I didn't bother water cooling the graphics cards, makes it easier to upgrade them in the future (probably the only parts I will upgrade in the years to come).

I will add the list of parts I've used for my build later today and will try to list the fittings as well (too many fittings).

I will also upload some benchmark and temps monitor screenshots for those who are interested ;) .

I was planning to do a second loop for the GPUs but abandoned the idea as the GPUs are the thing I will probably upgrade a few time during the life of my computer.

It gives me the freedom to test & upgrade to other GPUs without having to break the loop and buy expensive blocks every time  .

So far, no complaints, apart from the weight of the fully packed case (about 50kg).

One issue, the acrylic window had two small cracks near the screws when I got the case, not the quality of acrylic I expected tbh, But corsair will replace it free of charge as soon as they get them in stock, as always, great CS from Corsair!!

I also had to drill two small holes to attach the reservoir, would have been good to have the case "reservoir ready", especially if the targeted market for this case are water coolers.

Sweet dude how much did this cost you?

I've been collecting parts for this build for a few months, I would say in excess of 5.5k$. I did get some good discounts on the CPU, MB and fittings though.

why you not watercool dem cards

See post #3, mainly because I'm planning to upgrade my cards in the near future.

Such a sexy build :3 It's a shame you didn't watercool those cards though but I understand that upgrade factor. 2 680's are already really powerful. Which GPU are you gonna wait for before watercooling the entire system completely?

Still a pretty awesome build in such an epic case though. Me likey

Thanks!!  Will sell my 680s real soon and maybe go for dual 780 depending on the price & performance when released.

Load is about 48c for the hottest core at stock speed and around 65c when highly overclocked.

Wow, nice build man.

Thanks!!

That would be nice if you posted CPU full load temperature screenshots. Very interesting how 3 radiators handle it. As I understood you got 2 quad fans rad and 1 tripple fan radiator ?
