My main laptop is my beloved Dell Latitude E6500. 2.55GHz Core 2 Duo undervolted to 1 volt, Nvidia Quadro NVS 160m overclocked to 800+MHz, 4GB DDR2, a 60GB SSD (OCZ Vertex II I got from my dad after he upgraded to a bigger SSD.) and a 250GB HDD where the CD drive should be, and a 15.4 inch 1280x800, which is terrible. It used to have a 1920x1200 which I really liked but I managed to break it by tightening the hinge screws because it was wobbly. The 1280x800 panel came out of a random laptop at my local computer shop. Sometime I want to buy another 1920x1200 panel. (70-80 bucks on eBay for just the panel.) I got the laptop out of the tech recycling thing that's at my dad's work. Sometimes he finds good stuff and brings it home for me. I got the laptop from there in perfect working condition except with no HDD or screen. I have modded the cooling and with the undervolting the CPU never runs over 150F at full load with the fans on low. It's running Windows 7 (Pro or Ultimate, I forget.) on the SSD and Windows XP on a small partition on the HDD. It has a big 9-cell battery (Like 85Wh) but it still doesn't last longer than around 2.5 hours.

My netbook is a Asus EEEPC 1005HA I got a tag sale with a smashed screen. I replaced the screen for like $30 and installed Windows 7 Starter with Windows XP on a small partition. I've done cooling mods and I have the 1.6GHz Atom overclocked to 2GHz. (I've gotten it up to 2.1-2.2GHz.) I also have GMABooster for the iGPU. The battery life is really good, especially compared to my E6500.

You know that recycling thing I was talking about? A year or two ago my dad gave me a brand new extended battery for a Latitude D430 that someone decided to throw away. It's an OEM Dell battery but I've never been able to use it so I still dunno if it works or not but it came in the plastic sleeve and it seems to be new on the outside. The D430 is basically a 12 inch netbook version of the D630 which I used to have. Earlier today I ordered a D430 and the parts I need to get it running on eBay. The one I got has the highest CPU you can get for it, a 1.33GHz Core 2 Duo. It's got 2GB of ram and in the pictures it seems to be in pretty good condition. It was just missing the ZIF drive and the cable for it. I ordered a used 40GB drive and the ribbon cable needed. (The drives are expensive. A 120GB drive or 32GB SSD both cost more than I paid for the laptop itself. Maybe I'll get an SSD in the future.) It also has a standard battery with it which is nice. (I could use it as a spare.) I got the laptop itself for $30 plus shipping.

I know, I know, blasphemy on the right. But I've had it since release and I love it.
And as to the Surface Pro 3. I've only been with it for 2 weeks, so I haven't much anything to say about it yet. Aside from the random WiFi/Internet dropping issues after waking from sleep and scaling issues, which can both be fixed in software updates, it's been so far so good.

The T100 is mine, and it's pretty awesome (network drives to my desktop are even better :D)

The M520 is a project I was working on (now done) to make a old xp laptop semi usable again (it's running lightweight ubuntu or lubuntu)

I also have an HP elitebook at a family members house, but it's ~four years old and not very usable (i5 Sandy Bridge, 4gb of ram, I think a 8800M [or some rather old nvidia mobile graphics card)

(oh and I'm totally not updating nvidia drivers on my desktop)

CPU: i5-3570K Cooler: Hyper 212 Plus MB: MSI Z77MA-G45 Ram: Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 HDD: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM GPU: PNY GeForce GTX 770 4GB Case: Rosewill Challenger-U3 ATX PSU: Rosewill Hive 650W OS: Windows 7 Pro 64bit Monitor: ViewSonic VX2370Smh-LED Keyboard: Some Dell Keyboard Mouse: Logitech G500 Headphones: Logitech G930

From left to right: Asus G51JX, Samsung NP900X3C, Thinkpad X220i

The Asus I got in 2009/2010? so I could play games at school. yep. Now I just use it to watch movies and stuff on my TV.

The Samsung is the daily driver for uni. Pretty much word processing and facebook machine.

The Thinkpad I got a while ago off ebay really cheap when I needed a portable laptop for school. It's great, but It has issues , which is why I got the samsung.

My laptop is a Lenovo Y400. It's my main computer I have an iMac but never use it (Haven't updated it since OSX 10.6).

Specs:

GT 750 2gb

8gb DDR3 1600 RAM

1tb 7200rm HDD (Second HDD I dropped the first one, so I broke my back up drive's enclosure to get it out and it happened to be the exact same OEM drive, so I just used it)

I had the Skyrocket variant on att (sgh-i727). It had a snapdragon s3 dual core.

I could over clock it to 1.72ghz, but it got too hot for normal use :]
