Muting Skype hotkey/macro/script?

Hey, 

 

I've been playing a lot of CS:GO recently and I talk to my team on Skype. But, they can be really loud when I'm trying to clutch and hear footsteps. So I was wondering, is there a hotkey, macro or script I could create/use to mute Skype?

 

I have a G9x but from what I can tell there isn't a way to mute a specific program using the software. Before anyone mentions it, no we can't switch to Vent, Teamspeak etc. because they flat out refuse. I know, it's ridiculous.

 

Apologies if this isn't the correct subsection but it seemed the most appropriate given the possible scripting element.

There is a setting in the skype settings that allows you to bind keys to functions including mute

tools>options>advanced>hotkeys

Yeah thanks man but I guess I should have been more specific, I meant mute the program audio, not my microphone.

You can setup keybinds in the options of skype...

I know, but there is no keybinding for muting the volume.
