SSD or Mechanical KB?

So I have 240$ ATM but I can only spend about 110 of it.

At the moment I'm using a Acer membrane KB that came with a old Pre-Built. My computer also doesn't have a SSD and my HDD a 7200RPM Caviar Blue so its not that bad, but I think I might of shortened its life span by not being gentle when taking it out of its bay.

I'm looking at buying either the K65 or QuickFire Rapid by CM Storm, Or the 120GB PNY XLR8 SSD by PNY.

What would you guys buy, and what do you think is more important?

SSD, no question about it. I am playing just fine on a random membrane keyboard. A mechanical keyboard is the kind of thing you get when your hardware can't get much more powerful and you are still looking for something that improves the experience.

The SSD I mentioned is 69$ at NewEgg right now and its the cheapest 120gb...

Still ssd. Once you've used a computer with an ssd its impossible to go back. 

 

Put the os on the ssd and all games/other programs/music/video on the hdd. (Most frequently used programs can go on the ssd).

i would get a 240GB if you can. depending on where you live they are not much more expensive and should alot more (dont forget windows takes up a quite a bit)

mechanical keyboard is the LAST thing you should buy for your PC (second to last being a good mouse)

I get micro stutter once in a while in my games, would a SSD fix that?

I unfortunatly never treated my HDD that well and it makes weird noises sometimes...

Take an ssd first, a fast OS is really something that a real gamer needs :D

But i would not take a PNY, personally i prefer an intel, samsung or crucial ssd.

And for the mechanical, take a look at a ducky, Slick will definatly recommend it :D and they have one of the best keyboards out there, but they come with a price to match.

an ssd won't affect you in-game, but it makes the whole computer snappier to use.

Like I said I only want to spend 110$ and I would only use the SSD to put Windows 8 and BF4...

If you don't like the way your HDD behaves, test it with HDtune for damaged sectors, if there are damaged sectors, get a new HDD asap.

And microstutter can solve it but that's not a guarantee. what graphics card do you have?

If your hdd is very fragmented it can cause loading problems, if your pc needs just that one file and the hdd is just a bit too slow, it can cause the microstuttering, but the stuttering can be caused by other things.

As much as I love mechanical keyboards, they don't provide as big an everyday boost as an ssd.

Once you have one if you feel you write/game/use your computer a lot then I don't think it's a bad investment at all because they feel glorious.

My specs are on my sig. 

I get about 60FPS in BF4 Ultra 1080p 4x MSAA and its just really tiny stutter once in while...

It also happends once in while in ETS2 but that game is horribly optimized...

I know its only 64gb but its only too put Windows on it...
