SSD or Mechanical KB?

Why only spend 110$, anyway get a ssd then a coolermaster kb

I might spend 170$ not sure yet though, but mainly because I need to money to live, and I work part-time with 80$ every 2 weeks. The only reason why I'm buying this is because I got money for my birthday...

I decided too put my buget to 170$, and this falls at 172$, would this be a good combo?

I know its only 64gb but its only too put Windows on it...

That should be fine. 

 

w8 is only 20gb~, so that still leave about 35 gb for commonly used programs--chrome, photoshop if you use it, etc...

wow i just looked at canadian SSD pricing. 130 CAD for a 240GB,  where i live u can get one like that for 90 euros.

SSD, but you should get a 180GB or a 240GB one, because prices have come down quite a bit and 120GB isn't too much space. Never actually tested a mechanical keyboard, but for me, a membrane keyboard is absolutely perfect, no problems whatsoever.

So I have 240$ ATM but I can only spend about 110 of it.

At the moment I'm using a Acer membrane KB that came with a old Pre-Built. My computer also doesn't have a SSD and my HDD a 7200RPM Caviar Blue so its not that bad, but I think I might of shortened its life span by not being gentle when taking it out of its bay.

I'm looking at buying either the K65 or QuickFire Rapid by CM Storm, Or the 120GB PNY XLR8 SSD by PNY.

What would you guys buy, and what do you think is more important?

 

Would say that it proberly depends.. If your competitive in your gaming, and you really hate your keyboard, you MAY want to TRY a new kb.. mechanical keyboards are nice once you get used to them, though that's personal preferance.

I would go with the SSD personally, I have both a mech kb and an SSD - and the benefits i get from the kb gets heavily outwaighed by the SSD

mechanical is nice, but its not sooo much better. The only reason I got a mech keyboard (cooler master quick fire rapid) was because I wanted a ten-keyless keyboard, and thats hard to come buy with non mech-boards. 

 

You could also consider the Logitech G105--about the same as the K30 just a bit cheaper.

They're so cheap these days that it's really not a big problem, but I did have membrane keyboard with water and other stuff in, working without any problems..

Yeah I was planning on getting just that but I might go with the K65 on NewEgg because its the same price and I think I like it better.

100$ sounds fair but I don't really need a 240GB SSD when I can get a 120GB for 69$ and still get a nice KB.
