Moto G Verizon Prepaid $50

Currently at best buy you can get a Moto G Verizon Prepaid for $50. I'm pretty sure you don't have to use service to use this phone so for those with kids this is a better equivelent to those expensive iPod Touch 5G's. Quad Core CPU 1GB Ram Front and Back Camera aswell as a 4.5 inch display with 720x1280 resolution. If it is locked then just chuck Cyanogenmod onto it, had a HTC One which was locked to EE (A UK Network) and I can use any sim with it now.

The warranty from Motorola is then voided most people do not want to do this.

it recently got the new android 4.4.3 update

You will be asked when you setup the phone to activate it, but you can bypass it.  It will be a pita to unlock the bootloader. A while back some dude told about this guy who you would send $45, and your meid and he'll give you an unlock code through Skype.  Supposedly someone at Motorola leaked them out.  I think it only works on moto g's made in 2013.

If that's the case I would go with that cynogen mod thingy. Who cares if it voids the warranty you either pay $180 with warranty or $50 without warranty. With the extra money you saved get a screen protector and a case.
