That's what we're looking for. If they get too hot while gaming, it might be shutting down to prevent itself from harm being done by the heat. Posted July 25, 2014 personally would say psu. Get a decent 80+ one. A corsair CX600M woudl be a good choice for what you have now but when upgrading you should get a Corsair AX860(i). Ok thanks. Someone told me that if it was another part except the power supply in the computer having problems wouldn't it blue screen/restart? It could bluescreen yeah, but when you use for example another HD7770 lende from someone it shouldn't bluescreen because it's practically the same hardware. it's just most of the time trial and error. Posted July 27, 2014 If the problem persists, check Event Viewer to see the cause of the shutdown. If nothing i listed, it's almost certainly your PSU. If a PSU gets overloaded, it'll just shut off, and nothing usually gets logged to Even Viewer at all, meaning no BSOD.
