I recently upgraded to a triple monitor setup (I have 3 Samsung Curved CF390 24 inch monitors) and I recently purchased an RTX 3070 along with it. Im incredibly happy with the performance of the games when im playing but then it will freeze after about 10-15 minutes and then crash the game to the desktop (no matter what game I have tried). My PC Specs are: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 4x4GB HyperX Fury DDR4 GIGABYTE RTX 3070 Kingston HyperX 240GB SSD (Boot Drive) WD 1TB Black HDD WD 2TB Green HDD 5 RGB Fans Corsair CX750F RGB What is happenin

A bit ago I tried upgrading the Bios on this Crosshair VII Hero WiFi from Bios 3103 to 4007 using the USB Flashback functionality, running Windows 10 pro 20H2. I noticed a few oddities, the biggest one was the computer intermittently hard rebooting. I looked though the settings tinkered with a few voltages and removing C-states, clearing the settings, loading optimized defaults. But it kept Randomly rebooting? I could not find any real rhyme or reason. I figured just a buggy Bios so I rolled back to 3103, and the computer went back to running fine. So the other day I thought I would up

I have a 1 year-old EVGA Rtx 2070 Super Ultra +, and I have had problems with it ever since. I would randomly get BSODs, but most of all, every single game would crash occasionally due to "fatal driver error". Unable to roll back to previous drivers since Nvidia removed them from their website, I have tried reinstalling windows and using the DDU multiple times. I currently have the latest drivers from Nvidia. Nothing is being fixed. I have everything on stock and XMP is disabled. Please help before I call in a warranty. I recently bought a PC off craigslist for my girlfriend. I switched out her RTX 2060 for myself and gave her my Gigabyte GTX 1060. I also formatted my 1 TB hard drive and gave it to her since her PC only came with a 512 GB m.2. I started playing games on my PC with the 2060 and all the games are crashing. VRchat, DBD, 7 days to die, I know these aren't the most stable games but i NEVER had crashes this often before I switched to this 2060. I seriously cannot tell if the GPU is faulty or if its something wrong with the files ive probably messed up from transferring files from drive to drive. I

Hi, A few weeks ago I build my first Pc with my cousin and it worked out great and it went really smooth and nothing was wrong. After I got home however it started to become a little funky. When I booted it up it started to lag and it occasionally freezes when I have a stream up, a game and a discord chat open at the same time and when I talk or even opening a new tab it starts to freeze and lag. And I'm worried because I don't know what is going on. I tried to see if I needed to update anything and it says that everything is up to date or if it was a faulty product and everything looked

Hey guys. So my PC crashed out of nowhere when I was looking at the CPU temperatures on HWMonitor, without a Blue Screen of Death. The same thing happened when I was playing Cyberpunk 2077 a month ago, but in between that, I never experienced it again. I went to View reliability history and I found this. And I think that it wasn't my CPU because it the temperatures were around 40C. I hope someone will know what has happened.

You know, the recent issues I've been having with my PC is exactly why I could care less than two shit stains about someone's I.T credentials. It doesn't impress me, because computers don't impress me. They are steaming piles of shit. It will find a reason to give you shit where there is none and ruin your day, and more than half the time the solution is never straight forward. Can't play Hitman 3 without the shit crashing to the desktop with this fucking 0x80000003 error code. Yeah, I let them know about it, so calm your dicks. Almost ready to refund the shit and go about my daily life.

As the title says I've been having issues where randomly my rig will black screen, my fans will ramp up to max rpm and everything on my computer seems to work even after this as well. I can still hear game sounds, videos, and people in discord or zoom. This led me to believing it was a GPU issue from a post here, but I wanted a second opinion since the post is from an rx 480 user and I have a gigabyte 2070 super. I've kept an eye on the GPU and even under intense loads it doesn't always crash. It happened to me once on a zoom call where no other programs were running, and another time on valor

Specs down below The problem is that when i load up a game like the crew 2 on ultra 1440p 60fps for example the the pc simply crashes, i do still hear sound for 4 seconds or so. I have this same problem in other games aswel for example minecraft java with shaders or when im streaming. I also get 4 beeps in quick succession as a post code the gigabyte site says its the battery on the mother board and/or gpu aren't seated correctly. I unplugged both and put them back in. Yet the problem is still there. I have also tried a DDU, it also had no effect. Im thinking of rein

I have a GIGABYTE B450 AORUS M (AMD Ryzen AM4/Micro ATX/M.2 Thermal Guard/HDMI/DVI/USB 3.1 Gen 2/DDR4/Motherboard) & on startup my motherboard has 4 red lights on startup on VGA/CPU/BOOT/DRAM. Often staying on VGA for longer than the others. I am not sure if this is normal or not. I also cannot play most games where my gpu temp goes past 65. When reaching that high there will only be a little amount of time before my pc abruptly shuts off. Hi. I built my first pc this fall (ryzen 3600, b450, rtx2070), And i've started having a issue, When playing games randomly all of my 3 monitors turn black for a moment and after about a second the game continues playing but all the other applications (like Chrome and Discord) freeze and sometimes I hear a beeping sound in my ear. It happens moslty while I play Gta and Rocket league. Sorry for any bad English.

So i noticed my pc running a little slow and i decided to do some maintenance like dusting, freeing up space, clearing cache and cookies etc but once noticed once i put my GPU back in it was VERY unstable, boot loops and BSOD etc, i narrowed this issue down to the power plug not being seated properly ( the pins were slightly bent from when i turned my pc around to remove the card, yes i know.. take it out before i move it.) once i fixed that it booted up just fine but now i crash while playing games and im not exactly sure why, i mainly play csgo and before cleaning i was at 170+fps and after

Does anyone else have errors for Batman Arkham Knight and keeps crashing? I am playing this game from the Epic Games Store and whenever I play the game for a few minutes the game crashes and goes to the desktop. I also get an error which says Fatal Error! BUILD_JULY_2012... Does anyone know what the issue would be? I have a 3600 and a GTX 1070 which should be more than fine for this game. I have this game on EGS (got for free) and I actually bought it on Steam hoping it was an error related to the EGS but returned once I realized I was getting the same crashes.

Hey all, I just started having random crashes the other day. They have happened while playing Cyberpunk, Battlefront 2, using Chrome, and while I wasn't even using the computer. They have nothing to do with temps (they occurred twice at idle speeds, and my temps never spiked), and occur completely randomly with no relation to any specific action or length of use. The crashes turn both my monitors to a mostly solid color (with a slight gradient). All but once this color was a blue matching my screen saver, once it was a different color, matching a loading screen

Hi, This week a built a new PC and it was working for the first couple of days but now it keeps crashing mid game for some reason. I have checked the thermals using HWMonitor and mid game temperatures were 42 on CPU and 63 GPU. I have tried using DDU for a clean install for drivers. I checked all devices in device manager to make sure everything at the correct drivers. I have also tried changing the cables connected to my monitors, and in the command prompt I tried doing sfc /SCANNOW, it found corrupt files and repaired them but didn't change anything. Everything I tried has not worked, not su

Hello. So like everyone today I have played Cyberpunk 2077 on my PC. But after an hour and a half of gaming my pc turned off and rebooted itself. Now I think that my PC overheated, because I had it running for almost the entire day (had classes in zoom, played rocket league with my friends and downloading Cyberpunk) and I noticed that my PC was blowing out quite hot air from the exhaust fan. My room was pretty warm at the time so that also didn't helped. After my PC rebooted itself I ran Cinebench, which when it ran my PC was making strange elecrical noise. After that I ran Cyberpunk again for

ok this will be somewhat long so bare with me. I use to game on my 1070ti on many different titles and everything was fine, I was able to play games like Modern Warfare, Cold War, CSGO, and GTA 5 without any crashing low fps and all that. Than I got my 3070 and that would run smoothly with no crashing also. I decided that I wanted to overclock, it so i did. And everything was still ok, accept for GTA 5, whenever i played gta 5 it would crash, exit my game and take to desktop screen, but sometimes it would even give me the blue screen of death. At first I thought this was just a gta problem, bu

Since the Call of Duty Cold War update I have not been able to play Warzone. Every time I try I am forced to deal with an INSANE amount of lag and microstutter that make it virtually impossible to play the game. I can play Cold War (no problem at all), and Modern Warfare Multiplayer (for the most part) without problem. But as soon as I try with Warzone it lags, freezes for a second and sometimes crashes. I have noticed that my cpu usage jumps up when this happens but i have no idea what i would do to troubleshoot that if that was the issue. I have tried changing settings, clearing cache, modif

So I lowered the frequency down to 2933mhz and use it as is cause I didn't have much time to fiddle with it. Now that quarantine is here, I have time to figure out what's keeping my RAM from running at it's rated speed. In my attemps of ru

I am experiencing some issues while playing some games. I noticed this first when I tried to play WoW. The game will suddenly and regularly freeze for 30 seconds or so, then the screen goes black and I can continue playing. I am not sure about the interval, but I guess it happens every 10 minutes or so, and it seems to happened more often if I have just died in game. Because of the crashing I tried to play some other games, like Satisfactory and Subnautica. These games are not playable at all, as they seem to crash within a certain amount of time after starting them (roughly 3-5 minutes i

windows blackscreening and crashing when launching games
Archemis. posted a topic in Troubleshooting
issue started today after playing black ops cold war zombies with some mates, i died and then alt tabbed while i wated for the round to be over. when i respawned i was still alt tabbed and when i clicked back onto my primary monitor both my screens went black and my gpu fans went to 100%. ever since then i havent been able to launch or play much of any game. i have been able to get to the CW title screen once, play a single game of training grounds in R6 siege and get to the doom eternal title screen. but as soon as i would press on zombies in the title screen or try and play doom eternal -
Hello everyone, The problem that keeps occurring with my system is that it keeps crashing or freezing after a certain amount of time. There are no blue screen errors, it just buffers any media that I'm using but I am still able to hear people in discord and see chat update on twitch. I am not able to open any new processes except for Task Manager, but I am able to alt+tab on my desktop and close any process. Also what seems to happen is that my RGB disconnects from the colors I set them too and they go back to being rainbow. I've tried 3 different drives, new ram, and an RMA on my po
