The newegg one seems legit

Assuming you the amazon one tho there are a few possibilities

1)scam

2) flash sale from a seller (not impossible but it is unlikely)

3)Typo in price from either amazon or PCPP (again not impossible)

I edit my posts for so if you saw a typo.... no you didn't, you are just crazy

Check out all the other scammy GPUs from ts-shop, too! Down at the bottom. maybe @LinusTech can make a video on buying one of these and see what it's all about 😅

And the reviews are certainly not about GPUs. They probably sold other non scam stuff, then switched over to GPUs with the positive reviews so they could scam people.

Sorry the image is small, you need to click on it to view it large.

Additionally if you look at the reviews left it's all been stuff for children parties and the like. Suddenly they're selling brand new GPUs at 50% off retail out of the goodness of their hearts?

What on earth makes you think anyone would spend the time and effort on reviewing a pop-up no-name seller on Amazon? Seriously?

Exactly, it's a common scam at this point. Anyone who thinks "oh well I get a refund" is an idiot. The seller makes off with the money, sure it doesn't put a dent in Amazon's wallet but it does enable these scammers to make money and continue the scam at larger scale.

Random shop with gibberish name registers so they can sell stuff on Amazon.

Sell some cheap junk for a bit and then suddenly start "selling" brand new expensive electronics and the like for 50+% off retail price.

Disappear with the money after a bit and start again leaving the platform on the hook for refunds and people without products, or worse the customer without money and without a product because they got sent a brick or some junk.

Not to mention one just need to browse the internet for a bit if really curious what kinda items possibly be used as a stand-in.

Especially posts from GPUpocalypse era.

Unlikely to be covered

They have covered GPU scams and knock off parts many times so the suggestion (sadly) is a drop in a bucket that's full

this basically
this scam is not new at all and funnily enough, one of the primary benefits of aliexpress.
Western marketplaces immediately release the funds to the seller upon a purchase, always have.
So you can see the problem where scammers can enter and either buy or hack an existing sellers account, change the banking info, and put up a bunch of fake listings.
They then go on to purchase for pennies some tracking numbers which go roughly to each buyer's address/city and they submit those to the orders so that they can continue to get new orders without getting shut down too fast.
this goes on and on in some cases even for weeks after the first fake tracking number gets delivered and the customers start complaining.
the seller even goes on trying to fight the buyers saying no it was delivered contact the mail to get your insurance refund or similar.
once they finally get shut down, amazon tries to charge back the account, but the money has already moved on, and the bank is unwilling to help because they dont give a shit.

In contrast, aliexpress does not immediately transfer the money to the seller, instead, the seller has to ship the product out of pocket. Ali holds the funds, waits for the order to be delivered, then waits an additional week before finally releasing the funds to the seller. if at any point before the funds are released, the buyer submits an issue, the release is paused until it is all solved.
They still try to double down on the fake tracking scam but it rarely works.

looks like they are not selling any products now. Storefront is empty. Either that or they sold out of their scam.

That's how it is with my local e-marketplace too (Indonesia)

I thought it's the norm of an escrow based service
