Firefox is first, then Chrome, then IE.

Because Firefox is fast and uses less RAM, Chrome has my apps, and IE because it works fine.

Been using Firefox since v3 but made a switch to Chrome earlier this year because it kept crashing. Now that I hear it's more stable now I've gotten comfortable with Chrome and too lazy to go do a switch again.

Before I always used Firefox, mostly because of all the add-ons and stuff. It looked familiar and cool. But then, I read an article... and it turned out Firefox sucked. I mean, I should probably read some more before saying Firefox is crap, but, well... it also turned out Chrome was the best, but I don't like Chrome. I don't know why, just don't like it. And then Opera made the second place or something, and I figured it was worth a try. Although I still use Firefox on my phone.

Pale Moon as my main and Chrome as my sub for certain apps.

After what happened at Mozilla and after the s#!^^" experiences I've had direct downloading with Firefox, I was ready to make the change.

I use Firefox, because Firefox is the best, quickest, most secure, least buggy, and add-on friendly browser ever designed.

IGN gave it a 10 out of 10, so I can't refute that.

I use FF because I heard about adblock plus and jumped on the bandwagon. Also use to run no-script, but that became to much of a hassle for my daily browsing. I have my bookmark tabs set up the way I like and I'm use to the interface. That's all. If they were to take it away, I would move over to Chrome and life would go on.

I use Chrome as my main go-to browser mainly because I it's linked up to my Google account so it's all synced and nice and dandy.

I use Firefox also when I need to be logged into the same website on two accounts.

I use chrome because when Google will completely take over the world i will still be able to browse to the internet.
I am just kidding. I like it because it's faster. However Chrome uses RIDICULOUSLY more RAM than any other browser that i used.

Out of interest, why do you have opera for battlelog? From my experience, it works fine on chrome and generally acceptably on Firefox (although it certainly isn't perfect, and some things have only been fixed recently).

No particular reason. Opera is always running on my second screen. That's why I use it for Battlelog and quick browsing.

Chrome cause it is beast, one of the safest browsers around and also the fastest. I also like minimalist designs and the UI is simple to use.

I have a plethora of browsers that do different things, as a general rule I have one of everything installed.

WhiteHat Security Aviator: most secure browser, totally private.

Safari: General purpose, use for watching Apple keynotes.

Firefox: Crazy modding, altering source, etc. Love all of the extensions.

Chrome: (with all of Google's spyware turned off) for speed and general simplicity.

Chromium: When I'm in a particularly open source mood.

Opera: Can't say much. Use it for schoolwork and multitasking.

Chrome Canary Update Channel: Testing out Google's latest browser innovations.

OmniWeb: An interesting change of pace by the Omni people. Definitely worth a shot.

Lately, I've been hooked on WebKit nightlies. For those of you that don't know, WebKit is an open source web rendering engine created and open sourced by Apple which is used by the majority of browsers these days including Chrome (technically a fork but functionally identical) and I believe Firefox. The latest WebKit nightly has an FTL JIT compiler integrated for JavaScript. If you think Chrome runs JS fast, you should see WebKit do it.

Firefox actually has its own rendering engine called Gecko which is used in all of mozilla's products (ff, thunderbird and others). That's why firefox can have quite different html spec support from webkit and why stuff like apng (awesome!) is supported.

My bad. There are definitely other browsers that use WebKit though.
