Corsair AX860? Pretty much any decent 850+ watt, so you have some more headroom overclocking or upgrading.

Go with 1000W+, i went with the RM1000w. Apparently cf 290 can take up to 600w 300 each & if you want to oc gpu/cpu.

It is good. The HCG-850m is based off of seasonic's m12ii platform. 

Antec has some of the best psus available...

Please reread up on relevant reviews before giving shaky advice in the future. Antec like many other brands don't actually manufacture their psus but rebrands. Reviews are only relevant on a unit by unit and at times series by series basis.

are you sure a 750w will be enough for 2 290s in xfire, with the rest of my rig, a newmobo and a ssd

ok  i had the super nova as a plan before, i judt dont want to have to buy a new psu when i also fork out alot for the crossfire needed stuff, like new mobo, 2nd gpu and a case

antechs psus are iffy from what i have seen

 

They offer some great PSUs - some of which are consider the among one of the best in the consumer market (Delta build HCP). The HCG 850-M he had mentioned was a solid mainstream unit from Seasonic - M12II Bronze 850w internally as mentioned.

4770 and 290 crossfire can be done with a 750W.
