No Snapdragon X video?

Go to solution Solved by AlexTheGreatish,

It'll be out soonish.  Microsoft were dickheads and didn't release the final software until yesterday and told most manufacturers to not send laptops until that final software update had been released.  Plus we have a lengthy review process now that'll push it even further out.

Makes sense, considering many other reviewers haven't published yet. Thanks for the rapid response ☺️

You make it sound like it is bad that they aren't rushing videos out. It's a good thing that they are taking their time to do things properly.

10 days though? this is either gonna be a 40 minute video with more tests and benchmarks than known to man, or, MS has screwed them over again and said "no pls test new update first!" again

When I made that post it was the same day the embargo was lifted.

My objection was specifically about the comment I replied to.

The way I read that comment was like they complained and blamed the people who called for LTT to make better videos with less errors in them. That they shouldn't rush out videos and pay close attention to the content of the videos they put out.

I object to the idea that it is a bad thing that they release fewer but higher quality videos.

I still hink it's better to take their time and release something good rather than rush something out. Quality over quantity. I'd rather get one good video than three bad ones.

With that being said, just because something takes time to release doesn't mean it is good either. It is possible that their video about the Snapdragon laptops end up being terrible even though they come out late.

Indeed - would take a quality review over a rushed one. This is the biggest change in the windows laptop space potentially for decades though. I really like the look of the lenovo laptop shown by dave2d, but its like no other channels are covering it. Alternatively, M1 on Mac got a tsunami of coverage - wonder what is going on.
