so title says it, im looking into upgrade paths, and a 280x would be good for me so how much psu watage do you suggest for 2 280x crossfire

Get at least 750W, R9 280X crossfire + OCd+ CPU OC can get demanding.

The EVGA 750W modular PSU is on sale under $100.

That's their value series, not that it has anything bad, but don't expect silent fans, black sleeved cables, and perfect clean power. It will work and last for years, however there are 80+ gold modular sleeved options out there for under 100$, just like the one I linked

If you must go corsair, go with the rm750--the EVGA G2 @ForsakenLive suggested is still better though
