New build for a friend

Budget (including currency): $<5000

Country: U.S.A

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Fortnite, cyberpunk, Spiderman 1 and 2,

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): 1440p at 120+fps, prefer 240+.
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/MGqkrv

Anything I could make better? He said as long as it stays under $5000 he doesn't really care. He wants max performance on any game, specifically the ones listed.

I edit my messages more than not –

Probably some dude on the internet

Easily done, i would go lower if this is a solely gaming PC. What would be their dream price cap besides "below 5K"? A budget that wouldnt compromise their finance.

Achieved including a screen even. If you put a 3090 in there it will be a faster gaming pc than your build. Or save a shitload of money for a 20% slower card.

Case is quite big id downsize that a bit

Aight so that eliminates the flagships. This is the best hard value for competitive/optimized settings 1440p144, with @jaslion GPU-CPU combo being my step up with a monitor.

This seem like a nice build. I would go with Arctic liquid freezer III 360/420 though. Especially if choosing the H9

Yup depends on what looks they wanna go with here really. Cooling performance wise you dont need more than that thermalright so its all about looks now anyways

Yeah if using the H9 at least. You could argue that you might be able to get away with lower fan speeds when using the AIO, but that won't be the case if you have 10x fans

I mean its just another o11 and pretty much have all fans as intake and the back open. Can still easily get away with lower fan speed on an oversized aio. Its also not like the arctic fans are loud or anything

My point was just, usually people that get these types of aquarium cases, tends to fill them with fans. More fans = more noise.
