RX 570 not recognized by QIYIDA X99 M9 motherboard.

Silencix
Go to solution Solved by Silencix,

Finally, I sold the Chinese motherboard.

Hi all, I buy a QIYIDA X99 M9 motherboard and a Xeon 2630 v4 but my rx 570 is not recognized by the motherboard, its do five beeps and not output signal. When attach my gt 710 everything works normal. I think is some BIOS related stuff but i don't know because is my first x99 motherboard setup.

Any help to get my 570 working?

Thanks in advance.

All the best.

You may need to check if the bios is running as a eufi. These ali express specials tend to have weird quirks

Hi, Any help?

The unfortunately reality is that when you buy one of these no name salvage motherboards (which may not even be a real X99 chipset) there's a high chance you'll run into weird quirks and you won't have any support to fall back on.

Unless someone else here happens to have used this particular model before you may be out of luck.

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.

System memory (DDR4) does not impact what type of Video Memory (GDDR#) the Graphics Card uses.

You'll have to see if there is a later BIOS revision or see if other owners were are able to successfully get a UEFI supported/required GPU working with that exact board. I was not able to find any sort of motherboard manual or support documents...

Why does OP need a graphics card with DDR4 video memory?

RX-570 uses GDDR5 Video Memory; again, you are NOT restricted by the System Memory type.

e.g. just because System Memory is DDR4, does not mean you need to use a Graphics Card with matching memory type (DDR4).

You can use and AMD R9-Fury that uses stacked HBM Memory type if you wanted...

Hello community, I bought this Chinese combo, the solution I found is: I cleaned the CMOS, placed a Powercolor RX6600 not "XT", the blocking continued, unplugged the power supply, cleaned the CMOS again, placed a gforce GF-9600GT, it was still blocked, placed again the RX6600 and every time it booted I pressed "F2 AND DELETE", until it gave the image with the RX6600 and it appeared in the bios image "load default values" I canceled and finally in the BIOS menu search for "save and exit" and I start the operating system normally, the only change is dd4 4gb 2400 mhz markvision, greetings.
