First PC Build Suggestions - mainly for browsing, office work, and genshin.

Budget (including currency):

PC:

25-30k Pesos (roughly 440-530 USD) or close to that range.

Monitor:

7k Pesos (roughly 120 USD)

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Will mainly use for browsing, office work, and genshin

Other details:

Hi, I'd like to ask for advice/recommendations. I've been using my current PC for almost 7 years, and I'm thinking about building my first PC (not immediately but maybe mid or end of this year). Can you guys recommend a decent PC build for me? I will mainly be using the PC for browsing and office work. I am not a hardcore gamer, and the only game I really play is Genshin Impact and sometimes LoL. What's the budget and/or average range for this type of PC? I just want to make sure that I'm not overspending on any pc part.

I'd also like to ask for monitor recommendations since my current monitor is already having display problems. Since I don't plan on replacing my PC right away, is it okay to buy a monitor first (but it needs to have a VGA port since that's the only port my PC has), or should I just replace everything altogether eventually or should I just use an adapter for now? Thanks!

I'd start here. It's basically just the recommended specs for Genshin. I didn't include a case as that is entirely down to preference. As for the main goal of the parts it was the cheapest options from known reliable brands. Everything will be in USD and pricing and availability may vary depending on your region.

As for a monitor I threw in a 24" AOC 1080p 165hz monitor. AOC is my go to budget friendly brand.

Everything comes out to ~$650 USD, again without the case. Yes, I would just upgrade everything together. If you do buy this monitor it does claim to have a VGA port.

But it would be hard to convert the pricing as it isn't one to one, when talking about price from one region to another.

I'd maybe go for slightly different parts, though the prices might be different as you mentioned,

if the prices aren't that far from US, there's some small improvements the build could go, but yours would work too.

Going for 5700G would be decent, if the cost is lower similarly to US pricing, though with iGPU a fast RAM and maybe even storage can become crucial.

philipines?

id expect a 6700xt minimum at ~500$ though a 6800 should be doable aswell  youll want a mix of used and new cause all new at this budget will result in a far worse build both performance and upgradability wise

dunno about monitors so ill let someone else reccomend monitors
