Should be able to see that under "view network connections"

The other thing you can try is to disable the firewall on the hosting machine and see if that is blocking it.

I have a local drive in my pc, in it I created a folder that I am sharing with my 5 pcs in my office and everything is going well (using it to keep all the pcs in sync with the files that a software creates (invoices and other files...),
I wanna know if I can share this folder with a pc in a different location with different IP, and keep it in a sync with the other pcs (also make it possible for the pc in a different IP to add files to this folder)

Yes, this is possible using a self-hosted VPN, like PiVPN (which, contrary to its name, can run on pretty much any *nix server, not just RasPis). Follow tutorials available online for setting up a Wireguard VPN.

Main System (Byarlant): Ryzen 7 5800X | Asus B550-Creator ProArt | EK 240mm Basic AIO | 16GB G.Skill DDR4 3200MT/s CAS-14 | XFX Speedster SWFT 210 RX 6600 | Samsung 990 PRO 2TB / Samsung 960 PRO 512GB / 4× Crucial MX500 2TB (RAID-0) | Corsair RM750X | Mellanox ConnectX-3 10G NIC | Inateck USB 3.0 Card | Hyte Y60 Case | Dell U3415W Monitor | Keychron K4 Brown (white backlight)

Before I was only sharing the folder using windows 11 sharing features, can u send me a link for a video that can explain what to do in my situation?

A vpn just makes a remote computer think its locally in the network. So basically set up the vpn and once they connect for the drive and the computer its as if both were on site there physically

Been searching for hours for the best tutorials none of them were really perfect 😞 , Do I need to have a static IP on my main machine network??

You can also look into something like tailscale.

Install it on the machine with the drive and then on the client machine that needs access and use the ip address that the host machine is assigned from the application.

I use it to connect to home when some places block my normal VPN connection.

(today I mapped the drive with my new pc (in the same location) and it connected successfully (so the password I know is working)) - I used this location to map it \\server\sys.

I wanted to map the drive using a remote pc by tailscale software, I downloaded it on both main pc and client pc (the remote one) but it didn't find it,

*I tried using it reversely; making the main pc map a drive in the client pc and it mapped the drive successfully.

So why the client pc cannot map the drive in the main pc?

* I tried using the IP that is provided by tailscale but this didn't solve my issue.

checked everything, pc name, network connection.

* I don't have a static IP in my main office.
