Before you return it, did you try Leclod's suggestion to plug it into the cpu fan header port, or have some fan plugged into it at least?

System specs:

GPU: Sapphire AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT NITRO+ [1050mV, 2.8GHz core, 2.6Ghz mem]

Motherboard: MSI MAG B650 TOMAHAWK WIFI

RAM: G.Skill Trident Z5 NEO RGB 32GB 6000MHz CL32 DDR5

Storage: 2TB SN850X, 1TB SN850 w/ heatsink, 500GB P5 Plus (OS Storage)

Yes I have tried that and it woks with fans Thankyou, actually I do I need to plug it into the pump slot because it's an aio cooler do I? 🤔 I've never used one before so wasn't sure

It works with fans, but the issue is some motherboards wont post for cpu safety reasons if a fan isnt plugged into that header

Ahh ok so it needs to stay where I out it then thanks, this crazy I'm going to have to wait nearly another week to have the item sent back, checked over and then another sent out and there is still no guarantee 😔

So I have looked up more support for this board/cpu and apparently it's only supported the Intel I9 14900k on the f4 bios and I have been updating to the latest f5 so I thought I'd try f4 tho it made no difference but Can anybody confirm whether the led indicator  light is supposed to change when performing a bios update as mine only stays on cpu the whole time, also on closer inspection (and after doing it multiple times now) I noticed that the computer refused to power on after so I'm not sure if it's crashing at the end of the bios flash too 🤔

Would a bios update without the cpu help if that's the case 🤔🤷🏼‍♂️ or would it jot update the chip set if its not connected
