My thoughts

I'm guessing not a lot of people participate in the voting so a popular streamer decided to skew the votes to be funny. 

 

RDR2 receiving Labor of Love despite no updates in almost 3 years. 

Hogwarts Legacy which ran awfully on a Steam deck winning the Best Game on Steam Deck award.

Most egregiously a game with Mostly Negative feedback, Starfield, winning most innovative gameplay. A game plagued, in my opinion, by 2010 Bethesda game design that has not evolved since. 

 

People on reddit were quite upset over these awards.

i don't understand, what was going on? some kind of marketing gag? i use steam just to play some games, not interested in the marketing side of it, especially not the store page, what a UI nightmare! haha, wow.
