Galaxy (and probably EK) working on white watercooled GTX 770 HOF ICE.

Yarrrrrr,

Galaxy be working on a white "GTX 770 HOF ICE", (Hall Of Fame) watercooled edition..

It will feature both a white PCB, probably the same as their previous 770 HOF card aswell as a white full-cover waterblock with brushed aluminium plate in its center right.

Galaxy did not mention who will fabricate the block but,

as EK has previously released a white waterblock for the GTX 780 HOF. I'm assuming this also be their work but that not be been confirmed.

It be unkown right now, when Galaxy will release this card.

Yarrrrr,

Seems great for people with builds that include these colours, and don't want to break the bank on a new videocard.

Personally I don't like white in builds at all so I wouldn't buy them.

Yarrrr, ye be warned lily-livered scallywags

That block looks sexy as hell. That with a nice white backplate will look amazing.

Kind of wish they'd use the silver accents on the 780Ti FC block, or a Titan Black one if they ever make it.

Thats obviously EK. And if it wasn't then Gigabyte should hold back on that style. I would hate to see PC hardware companies going against each other in court luckily we have stayed away from that type of crap unlike our peasant underlings (mobile industry).

and coolermaster just ignored asetek and went on business as usual. (idk if it went to court there)

Anything I write is just a comment, take is as such, there is no guarantees associated with anything I say.

Only reason I would get this for my 770 is because of how it looks. Unfortunately my 770 is barely able to oc even though I have very low temperatures.

  • 1 month later...

ASUS teased some white PCB motherboards at CES (I think) this year... I really hope they produce them, then finally a matching MB to my KFA2 HOF :D (and I'd get this WB too if that's ever released)

PS: @Goshujinsama01: Why a backplate? Wouldn't you want to see the exclusive white PCB? ;)
