How do you properly make an image from excel?

Hello! I found myself needing to share an image file or pdf of my excel chart, however I'm having issues getting a good one, theyre very inconsistant. Sometimes lines will be 2x thicker than the surrounding ones, or the quality will be pretty low. How would you save it as an image? Or a selection as an image?

When you simply print to .pdf, what do you get?

 

Or just saving as .pdf thru Excel itself?

 

Sample Gantt Chart in Excel saved as .pdf is perfect...

Yeah Idealy i'd like it as a pdf! However when I do so, there's always a bit of white margin around the chart/table, even when I manually set all margins to 0, best case I would love to have a pdf cropped out to exactly the chart, no white spaces at all!

That's because even if you export a chart as a PDF, Excel treats it as a page to be printed. You can just right click on a chart and choose "Save as Picture". Works pretty well and I haven't seen any of the defects you describe.
