Help! My brain is melting. Please destroy my setup before I pull the trigger

I want to bring an ethernet cable to my TV, but also I would like to have the option to use any one of my two PCs on the living room for gaming etc. Depicted in the diagram is my best attempt to solve this problem, however, I have many questions and generally feel unsure about it.

  • Do I really need to pass 4 cables through the tube? or can I get away with fewer? specifically:
  • Do I really need a separate audio cable?
  • Should I be worried about interference in the tube?
  • Is there a reasonably-priced KVM that can meet these requirements?
  • Are there any good USB extenders for this application?
  • Am I better off using fiber optic instead? If yes, for what parts?
  • Is there any other thing I should be worried about?

Ideally the television receive audio from the KVM via HDMI, and then it would send audio to the soundbar via HDMI (e)ARC.

One ethernet cable

One HDMI cable.
Get two of each if you want redundancy.

Then have switches/AVRs/docks
