poll Upgrade from my Google Pixel 7 Pro to a Red Magic 8S Pro?

I really did love my Google Pixel 7 Pro, but unfortunately, its Mali GPU causes massive issues with gaming. Yuzu barely supports Mali and everyone in their discord server is a member of the Red Magic 8S Pro cult. Should I join them or suck it up until phones with an AMD Z1 Extreme SoC come out?

That won't happen. That chip needs way too much cooling and power to run.

 

This has been done MANY times over the last 2 decades and the x86 phones always SUCKED. Android isn't made to run on x86. The versions that do are meh.

 

Yuzu is in early stages of mali support. Mali gpu's are common it's just a small team working on a passion project basically. Even on the well supported stuff switch games don't run all to great.

 

If you want a mobile switch emulation box. You'll want a steamdeck or equivalent.

 

Or ya know a hacked switch  :p. Pretty cheap these days.
