AMD officially annouces Inflation of R9 prices is over

The price inflation effected anyone on both the green and red sides if they were looking for a new gpu at any point during the inflation.

Nope, only affected a few countries. This mining thing didn't catch on worldwide.

They never fixed it to my knowledge so it runs very very warm.  Mine hit upper 80's and VRM's hit 95*C.

 

I was under the impression they did fix it. I'll look into it.

 

EDIT: hardware canucks are saying it never topped out over 71c.

not great, but there's a bit of headroom. plus, I'd be putting a g10 on it regardless.

Point taken, was just pointing out in countries where it did catch on it did affect both red and green sides.
