The mods have powers based on the order they were added to the sub with the founding memeber always as top mod.

 

top mod can remove all mods under them but top mod cannot be removed by anyone but Reddit admin.

 

the top mod and those they designate as having full permissions have access to all the powers of a mod accept removing mods with Seniority over them. 
 

the lower level mods can also have their “power” limited by the top mods, allowing them only access to certain things like the accessing  the reports system, banning users, pinning posts, deleting comments and post etc.  

 

they can be given as little power or as much as the top mod wants.

 

so unless LMG staff started the subreddit (they didn’t) they aren’t in control of it and could easily be banned and removed from all mod positions in seconds and have 0 recourse.  They also might have had their mod powers removed or highly limited during these events and you would never know as their isn’t any public facing part of Reddit with that information it’s all inside the mod dashboard.

There is not a single subreddit on reddit that provides a public log of all moderator actions. 

 

Once again, the karma requirement to post on the sub was removed hours ago, so you are free to go waste people's time there now instead of wasting people's time here literally complaining about nothing.

Because you don’t need to see the reporting war when 2 people get mad and report every comment the other persons ever made.

 

also since a large amount of what is in the mod logs is spam from bits to porn sites making it public would remove any hood from pulling the link/post.  It’s how modded subs end up fully of spam and porn ads if the auto mod setting aren’t harsh.

That link shows posts and comments by the "LMGcommunity" account, the same as any other reddit user account page. It does not show any log of moderator actions taken by them, if any. 

 

Again, there is no subreddit where a complete log of all actions taken by moderators is available to regular users.

And yes, I know you said you've had "users" on reddit for a while, but you probably only use your account account once every few years to show up and make confused, irrational complaints about something, the same way you use your account on this forum. 

 

You are the one making an accusation (that LMG is "censoring" the reddit), so the burden is on you to prove that it's happening.

LMG staff has full access to the subreddit. Its not that hard to understand

Has the explanation why this thread was locked. I was thinking about same action with same reasons several hours before that, but decided to leave open to gather more backing on the solution.

 

None of the things you have listed would be used here as reason for lock or removing. We don't judge anyone by account creation date or post count, only by their actions. We don't remove criticism made towards LMG unless it crosses the line to personal attacks, threats or is just one line without arguments to be used in discussion. Most of the threads locked are for either of two reasons. They are repost of existing thread. Or they go hard into personal attacks against other members.
