8086k equivalent gpu recommendation

I'd like a recommendation for an under 500$ gpu (i am willing to go used) that can keep up with my 8086k but not a 4090ti or some expensive op gpu cause my cpu would probably only let it run 50% or something and bottle neck so id like a recommendation for something that will let me get gpus full performance, but also give my cpu a run. 

 

 

I will have 16gb ram can upgrade if need be. This ram upgrade wouldn't be psrt of my budget.

 

 

I know a 4090 would leave performance on the table by a wide margin. Also my motherboard is a z390 taichi so i can't use rebar so ark isnt a good fit for me. Modtly neef s recommendation thst lets me play with both being used for the most psrt. 

 

 

Minecraft java rtx, vr, and stuff like that are my intended games. I know some games will be cpu bound or gou bound and tgeres always gonna be some form of bottleneck, but given vr, 4k, and rtx are all hard to run it would be wise to find the least performance left on table equivalent so i have best chance of running high settings on these.

I ignored the waffling and just would think of the best gpu under 500$.

from the looks of it a 3080ti is under 500$ used

ray tracing though , i have the 6800xt , i dont do anything ray tracing related but supposedly not it's strongest feature

I'm using a 6800 XT with a i7-8086K @ 5.1 GHz.

For the most part, it does a good job at 1440p, but definitely holds the GPU back a little bit in some scenarios (i.e. vs like Ryzen 5000-series, etc).

Just as an aside, you actually can use rebar on that board with a beta bios update.  BIOS version 4.20I adds that support for that board.

Is 750 watts enough for the 6800 xt? Have a gold corsair psu

Yes, and RM750 will be plenty enough.
