Noctua released redux and industrialPPC lines of fans

Ssoele

Then don't look at it? I don't personally know anyone who looks at their PC more than their monitor...

Yeah, I think I went too far by saying that. It's not just about the colour scheme, it's the low sound levels, which Noctua is very much renowned for.

The "cheap" ones will cost what? Meh, I prefer the beige ones, it has that poop color but they're real deal. I'll find a way to hide them...

This is cool and all but there's better options out there still :/

Have you ever tried their P12 and P14 fans? Theyre much better fans imo, their new F12 and A14 are more of a downgrade

Never tried em, I liked my nf-f12's until I tried GT's, then I was like "oh lord why did I waste so much on these dam things" lol

I disagree, well depending on what your saying worse, as i have a number of F12 PWMs ans A14 PWMs. Also didnt the P14 only come in a 120mm mount?

I used to have a nh-d14 with the fans running at full rpm and it was just quiet but can't remember exactly how quiet but definitely quieter than this nf-f12 junk.

P14 was a round shape, now they came up with a square & round shape for the P14 in grey.

The one that came with 120mm mounts is the new A15 pwm

q

Yeah, the only time they were almost inaudible was 600 RPM, and they still made a small hum noise.  Meanwhille my GT's don't make noise until around 750-800, and give me lower temps as well.

I want to push/pull though so I can leave them at under 800 RPM 24/7, plus it'll look cooler and help my case appear more full.

(my 900D looks empty, been trying to find ways to fix that)

Just buy some rads, install them and some nice showcase fans and dont bother hooking it to your loop :P Or get another or two tube reservoir and position it horizontal

I noticed the humming noise as well from a review, but that noise wasnt there with their P12 fans. I think they used a sleeved bearing which sounds imo smoother than a dual ball bearing which the current F12's have

LOL xD  I think what I'll probably do is finish push/pull I may be downgrading to z97 w/ 4790k since 90% of the games I play are single threaded and I really don't use the 12 threads whatsoever.

Then maybe I'll watercool the VRM on the board I get to add extra stuff into the loop to hopefully fill out the case more

If you'd manage that 4790K at 5GHz meh that would be more of a upgrade for you imo, not a downgrade at all :P I remember some results from star swarm benchmark, at 4.5GHz I was getting 40-45 fps when a guy with his 4670k at 4.8GHz was doing 60 fps.

Btw you can put a gamecube in the 5.25" bays :P
