You guys like my laptop cooling stand?

 So I made this cooling stand for my laptop because I didn't want it to ignite as soon as I start a game

the back leg may see some benefit by just having two little legs one on each end with the middle bit being open so that airflow from the fan can exhaust out that way and naturally draw air in from the side. also it would look cuter

though it would harm structural rigidity

back in my laptop days i literally just had a piece of styrofoam wrapped in ducktape to put under the back feet of the laptop.

 

i dont see how the rest of this is necessary, past supplying you with convenient wrist papercuts.

I literally put a pencil under the feet :p.

 

yeah as you said everything is basically over engineered. Just a stack of cardboard the back leans on would do the same if not better

It could, not by much but it could. Increased airflow. Kinda like people do with the ps5
