How do you manage your passwords across devices?

I really like Firefox on PC so i try to use it also as a password manager on my phone and tablet. I just switched to the Pixel 7a and it would be so much nicer to just use the google password manager but I am not willing to switch too Google Chrome on my PC.

What are your password manager setups for multiple devices?

You can import passwords from Chrome to any browser, it'll pull it as a .csv and either natively or with a couple of toggles, you can important those to whatever browser.

Otherwise the answer to your question is to use Chrome 🙂

UV tattooed to your hand with special glasses that can see it, would be a cool idea.

Use a password manager like Bitwarden or KeePass.

This is the only right answer.

Don't write them down on paper. Don't store them in an unencrypted format. Those ways of storing passwords are bad.

I really only use whatever my main web browser is on my PCs, so in this case it's now Firefox. Thankfully it's a bit less annoying to get to passwords on the mobile version of Firefox compared to Chrome which is nice, and then for my desktops it's just a bookmark on the toolbar.

I would also argue using chrome and to an extent other browser based password management solutions are almost as bad too. For example if you use Chrome + Google if your google account is compromised and then potentially so are your passwords. I could be wrong and google/firefox/etc password managers have a way to separate this access out  but I just haven't bothered looking into it since moving to Bitwarden a few years ago. Make sure your password manager access is not tied to a single login like Facebook/Google/etc and uses a different secure password plus MFA to access it

I haven't used the built in password managers either, but I know that sometime in the past (and maybe still) the passwords were not encrypted or password protected. That meant that malware could very easily just copy all your passwords instantly, or someone with access to your pc could just bring them up.

I use/make multiple easy to access notepad like txt editors but then make the actual passwords character blobs of 40+ characters and somewhere in that mess is the real password. 😅 If you don't know how my friends and I cryptically  talk its going to be YEARS to crack one password. 🤣

I remember them in my head.

That said, I can make it little more understandable that parts of the passwords I use is the same on a lot of sites but other parts of it is unique. Every few years I change the parts that is in common between multiple sites.

Also, 2FA on everywhere.

Meh.  Most of my passwords are on paper and are usually stored in a location no one would think of looking in.  Truthfully, they're probably more secured than the safe where I keep actual important documents and items.  If they manage to get stolen, I'll have bigger issues to worry about instead of trying to reclaim my Memory Express log-in info.  That said, 2FA/Yubikey on everything that allows it also adds an extra security layer.

I use Microsoft Authenticator.

On desktop, it imports passwords via Edge (which are also locked behind my Windows PIN) and on mobile it's the standalone password manager.

(I use Authy as separate 2FA; M$ Auth is only for passwords.)

I use Edge on both desktop & mobile, alongside Firefox occasionally.

Oh no, that is 0 security, I will dig your pass with Nirsoft tools anytime!

I use paper....even scramble the pass on that paper in a pattern only I know of :3

For you, I strongly advice you to use KeePass or similar

Look into Bitwarden. You can install it as an extension on any web browser and get the app on your phone.

This is what I use.  Self-hosted.
