I have a black and red colour theme for my build but I have 3 white fans that came with my case. What would be the best method of making the fan blades red.

Thanks

plastidip, it will make your fans louder, but the advantage of plastidip is that you can take it off without any marks or residue

normal plastic paint will work to and will be lighter then plastidip but if you dont like it or screw it up, you'll have to buy new fans

Painting fans will make them louder, less efficient (less airflow) and more likely to fail.

Just buy new fans, they are not that expensive...

It's a precision made fan using high quality plastics and a precise balanced brushless motor that is made to make minimal noise levels while delivering a high volume of airflow. It has rpm monitoring. It has voltage control. Some even have PWM. All of this technology is not free you know...

Try putting a bathroom exhaust fan on your PC and enjoy the noise, while delivering less airflow.

They are OK. personally I don't like Corsair fans that much because they do not seem to have a good noise to CFM ratio.

What are you looking for exactly?

Colour? LED? Silence? Pressure? Airflow?

Yeah exactly, they're really cheap...

Paying like 60 dollars or more to change the aesthetics of fans is a lot of money. as opposed to probably spending 5 dollars to turn them red with not much performance loss.

If the fans aren't very good anyways and are loud or something, you would be better off buying new fans. But if you are happy with them, then you should give it a go. there are a few tutorials just by searching "how to paint computer fans". Good Luck if you decide to do it

This is THE best red 120mm fan. I have a white one, and it is the most quiet fan I have ever seen at less than 15dba. 74 CFM is also great, more than noctua fans.

I'm not sure where you can buy this fan, because NCIX only has the white version.

Just google the model number and you will probably find some retailer that carries it.

I painted all my Gentle Typhoons and my AP181's. I would argue that they perform any worse...

As long as you are careful. I would use a vinyl dye instead of paint if you can as its lighter.
