Everything on Amazon says "by April 19", even with Prime. :/

I have hard time to decide what I want to play in MMOs.

(World of Warcraft active at the moment).

I would love to be pure healer, but no, you need to "top the dps meters" too.

I feel like after healing 17 years in MMOs learning rotations, simming gear and whatever else.. 
I feel like I'm lost, dont know what the to do 😩

Hey there. There are a bunch of PC building/parts guides floating around on the forums, if you're up for a bit of reading:

  • DIY PC by Windspeed 36: The basic run-down on the parts in a PC build, what each part's purpose is, and why the parts have the features they have or how these features work.
  • General Rules of Thumbs and Q&A Guide on Basic PC Parts by Gonio: A detailed guide on picking PC parts, understanding what each part's purpose is, and deciding what parts are best suited for your individual situation/intent.
  • The Ultimate PC Part Compatibility Guide by Fgtfv567: A good guide on PC part compatibility that takes way more into account than PC Part Picker.

Please note that these threads were written some time ago, so specific item recommendations may not apply to 2020. Some have TLDR's in them, some don't. Overall they're pretty well-written and easy to understand.

 

If you'd like to have a go at planning your first build, check out PC Part Picker. Their PC parts lists aren't all-inclusive (for example, they don't list small/local brand parts), but their search filters are pretty neat, they'll list the mainstream, widely-available components you can choose from, and it'll tell you whether you'll run into any possible problems with your build (compatibility issues, clearance concerns, etc.). You can also look at other people's builds for reference, or look through people's comments on their thoughts/experiences with specific PC parts (these aren't in-depth, stress-testing reviews, however). If you've planned out your setup and would like some more advice on your build, it's worth a shot posting in the New Builds and Planning section.

 

The only tech review site I would recommend confidently and whole-heartedly is GamersNexus. They stress-test their components and do an in-depth analysis that goes into a ridiculous (and awesome) level of detail. The reviews are split into sections that are easy to navigate with CTRL-F, and if you haven't the patience to read through long walls of text, their conclusions always sums up the story nicely and succinctly.

 

The LTT forum also has sub-forums dedicated to specific PC Hardware, including one for Monitors. Consider posting a thread in the appropriate sub-forum, if you'd like some second opinions on your specific PC part choices.

My takeout food delivery was somehow sent to my old address, and they didn't turn it away!

 

Thankfully Just Eat refunded me.

 

When this (lockdown) is all over I am going to drop a card through their door (its nearby) and let them know it was on the house and not me, you know, in case they are worried.

I feel like I’m too young to be here, yea, I’m 13 so I can probably be here but the fact that a bloody 13 year old is somewhat helping random people with troubleshooting and advice (simple stuff for now but I’m hoping to help with more complex issues and advice in the future) is just bazar to me. In my local community I’m “the tech guru” operating my local churches av system (full studio live 32 and PowerPoint) and the sound system at my school, but being a member of an online forum with most people being 16+ and acually being able to contribute 🤯.
