As an owner of the MSI GAMING R9 290 (Twin Frozr) your build contains I must say, RUN AWAY RUN FAR FAR AWAY!

Also I agree than an 8 core doesn't belong in an 970 If one plans to Overclock it.

System CPU : Ryzen 9 5950 doing whatever PBO lets it. Motherboard : Asus B550 Wifi II RAM 80GB 3600 CL 18 2x 32GB 2x 8GB GPUs Vega 56 & Tesla M40 Corsair 4000D Storage: many and varied small (512GB-1TB) SSD + 5TB WD Green PSU 1000W EVGA GOLD

You can trust me, I'm from the Internet.

It can belong, i have my 8 core FX stable at 4.6ghz 24/7 on a 970 chipset board (Gigabyte 970A-UD3P), but it has an 8+2 gigitall power phase and high quality heatsinked VRM's but MSI won't do such motherboards, only ASUS as an other 6+2 power phase

board that can hanle OC's on the FX 8 core and it's the ASUS M5A97 EVO.

EDIT: You could have voted for me if you liked my build tho! :P
