Recommendations for a 24inch adjustable stand 1080p monitor?

Recommended AOC 24G2SP.

Hi all,

I'm looking to get a monitor for someone who will be using it for general productivity/work. Desk space is pretty limited, so the monitor must be 24in or less -- preferably 21-22inches, but will work with 24in.

I'm looking through this list at B&H, could someone recommend me the optimal choice here? I've filtered to below a budget of $200 as well.

I'm thinking either the ASUS VA24EQSB or ASUS VA24DQSB, but don't really understand how the VA24EQSB is cheaper, even though I think it's a newer model. The EQSB also seems to have higher max brightness as well as lower power draw.  https://www.displaydb.com/compare/asus-va24dqsb/asus-va24eqsb Am I missing something here?

Honestly for general productivity (presuming simple email and documents), I would just go for the cheapest option because you're really not going to notice much of a difference between those monitors in that use case. Perhaps even skip the stand and get a VESA monitor arm to mount the monitor to free up even more desk space.

Thanks so much!  How is this only $160 and 165Hz with 1ms response times?  And 1440p?

Thanks, good idea with the VESA monitor arm.  Do you have any recommendations for VESA monitor arms?  Edit: desk is backed into a left corner, and printer is on right side, and no room to move desk away from wall, so I think a VESA monitor arm would be pretty difficult..
