msi Better then RX 6650 XT?

I recently place an order for a MSI RX 6650 XT, but ended up receiving the RTX 3050 Aero ITX (pictured below). Which is better?

A 6650XT is vastly better. The 3050 is basically an overpriced joke of a card.

Just my luck, looks like Amazon doesn't have the RX 6650XT anymore, so what's a comparable GPU for $250-$300 new.?

The original pre-refresh 6600XT. The performance difference between the two is ~5%.

RTX 3050 is a trash ass card, barely matches the GTX 1660 Super that sold for $230 back in 2019. Amazon won't honor the order you paid for? You gotta raise hell because the 3050 sucks hard in comparison to the 6650 XT. 6650 XT is like 59% faster than 3050 at 1080p and 56% faster at 1440p in Techpowerup's testsuite

Tell them you want an MSI 6650 XT since that's what you paid for. Eg here's one in stock:

Sadly the 6600 XT has been pretty much sold through so is more expensive than the 6650 XT these days.

Here's a 6650 XT for $300 though if amazon tells you to go fuck off and will only refund you instead of replacing with the card you ordered or an equivalent.

I'd rather have one of the MSI 6650 XT though since they have 3 year warranty vs the 2 years Powercolor gives, and since this is one of the weaker coolers Powercolor makes. Though 6650 XT isn't an especially power hungry card so the cooler should be fine on it.

 

Though in that case if you're paying full price instead of getting shipped an equivalent item that you're happy with I'd spend the extra $20 and get that XFX RX 6700 I posted above for $320, since you get 10GB VRAM on it and a bit faster gpu from the benches I have seen of it.
