so gamespy is down and i want t play bf2 mp is there a way to get past it?

HTTP 404 = Server cannot be reached please try again later, try refreshing(F5) the page or re-enable your wireless

EA said they would patch the games.

Chances are it'll be through Origin.

Just relaying what I read on /r/games, but GameRanger is supposed to work as an alternative to GameSpy to let you play these games, as long as they are supported.

 

Halo is and so is Battlefront 2, which I saw mentioned here.

Don't know. I'm seeing 65 populated servers on BF2 and yes I can play.

same goes got BF2142 and BC2.

 

190 servers are showing if you include empty ones.

 

That's the disc version.

 

 

I'm assuming the servers handling MP are still up.

maybe EA cut a deal with Gamespy to keep them up for their games until they patch things

and get their customers to start using Origin.
