Budget (including currency): $4000

Country: USA

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Gaming (maybe streaming) - COD:MW2, DCS, Warzone, MMO's. Maybe some of the bigger titles. I haven't really played games for some time so we'll see it could be anything.

Hey all I would super appreciate some help with picking the GPU for my, in the works, PC. All parts are sitting in my basement. Except for the case, it'll be in soon. Anyway. - I know the best GPU right now is the 4090, but I'm just wondering if the price/perf is as good as the RX 7900 XTX. Especially for my build and monitor size. Being that it's not full 4K but it's more than 1440P but is also 144hrz. Makes me think I wouldn't necessarily regret the 4090. The only problem is I can't find one in-stock anywhere at MSRP, and they are burning up - albeit an extremely small sample size.

TLDR: do you think this system in particular would benefit the 4090 or do you think the proposed 7900 XTX specs, would suffice. I ask because for me to get the 7900 XTX I'll need to drive a fair distance to get to a Microcenter or best buy and will need to request time off in advance.

Really any help y'all could give would be huge.

Did you really spend $630 on a motherboard, $400 on RAM, $300 on a power supply, $200 on a cooler, $160 on 4 case fans and get 3 2TB professional workstation SSDs for a gaming computer?

Also don't use windows 10 for that CPU, it won't schedule tasks efficiently,

I edit the shit out of my posts.  Refresh before you respond.

Yes I did spend that much (so far), I will also be doing some light Cad/Catia use for work from home. It's my gift to myself for completing my Graduate degree. I really don't have a budget...the $4000 was primarily a way to put the PC in a price range.

Thanks for the tip about Windows 10 - I thought they ironed out the issues with 12th Gen. I will upgrade it after I install it, as I have a retail win 10 license already.
