Nintendo Switch speaker wire, can I solder this back?

I was changing the touch screen on my Switch and the red wire for the left speaker got disconnected right at the solder, how can I fix this? I tried googling it but no luck.

I just bought a solder iron to fix a xbox controller but didn't try anything yet, just watched some videos on how to do it, the very basics.

Would just placing the iron in the right solder circle in the speaker and then connecting the red wire be enough? The cable is very thin, not sure how I'd remove the red cover if I need to.

Strip the red wire of a couple of mm of insulation, tin it and solder it back

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

Theres plenty of solder there so tapping it with the iron should be enough to get the wire back on. But yeah that end needs a bit of bare wire not sure if soldering it like that will make a connection.

Correct... strip a few mm of insulation. Ideally you'd tin the wire, but there's enough solder on the speaker pad that you'll be fine just heating that solder and pressing the wire down into that solder.

Make sure the wires are not routed through the metal as in the pictures ... so you can easily unplug the cable cable from the connector.

A little flux or new solder would also help a lot.

Okay I did what you guys suggested and soldered it back.

The problem is, I had to use a lighter to heat up and strip the insulation, because the wire is too thin. But I ended up removing a bit too much of the insulation, and because the cable is small I just soldered it back with some of the wire off the solder, is that a problem? 3mm probably.

The wire might be a little burned as well... Just asking before testing because I have literally no knowledge about the subject, don't wanna have any risk of burning the main board.
