I'm jealous they have this kind of money to throw around.  I make good money but life is expensive.  Spending on a 4090 and having to pay for gas, food, ANY services... which have gone up 1.5x to 3x doesn't have me clamoring for a 4090.  I miss the days when I could just ignore the rest of life   It's like they can just ignore the state of the entire planet, kudos to them.

I think I'll wait and see what the Radeon RX 7000 mobile series costs and how it performs.

 

Purely on principle, I'm going to be incredibly skeptical of a new GPU series like the 40--where the push seems to be about slamming as many watts into the damn thing as possible--regardless.  So that + "Think + Light" fuckery = your .55" laptop will flash combust after your first 30 minutes of gaming.

As for my 8700k, it’s been at 5.3 since I got it.  It’s delided with Liquid Metal. I got it from silicon lottery.

Benchmarks are out, it really is up to 2x rasterization.  wOOoooooot

 

Thry are showing you can put it at like 70% power and only loose 10% fps for like -35% power.  Pretty awesome.

 

Gamers nexus also let slip that FE cards compete with AIB cards this round, so evga

got out at the right time. 
 

Makes me Think an FE plus ek block is best vs a strix that 2000 dollars.
