Bought a new card, and have a question

murph0981

So I bought a new Zotac 1650 because it was the best card in my current budget. It said it was an OC edition. Does that mean it’s the Overclocked edition? And if so, would it make any difference in stacking well with my I7-8700?

yeah it means the Base and the Boost clocks are slightly higher than they would be if it were a stock 1650.

With all the Trolls, Try Hards, Noobs and Weirdos around here you'd think i'd find SOMEWHERE to fit in!

Yes and no.

Yes OC stands for overclocked, and it's a higher SKU, but because of GPU boost it'll perform within margin of error of the non-OC parts. GPU boost basically overclocks the cards automatically and you can't disable it, so really it doesn't matter.

So does that mean I’ll have an issue playing games? GTA V is the most intensive one I play.

You won't have any issues or anything.
