Amazon's website uses way too much CPU power...

I notice that my fans ramp up so fast when I am browsing through Amazon, don't know why but it kinda pisses me off. I included a picture of not on Amazon and on Amazon. Why does Amazon uses too much CPU? I am just browsing... no other website does this...

Each browser has its own task manager, I recommend you to check that and confirm its the amazon's website and not your plugins.

It's Amazon. Every time I go to the website the fan's starts ramping up... EVERY TIME!!! Nothing else triggers that

For me (12600kf) amazon is like every other website. When its loading, cpu usage goes from ~2% to ~15-20% for a few secs, but then decreasing to the base again. Happens on every website

It's def something on your PC setup causing this.

I mean it's not a reach. Their storefront needs client data to drive their analytics for their amazon basics line. Unlike Google or FB which sell ads to external entities, Amazon has a huge incentive to gather user data for their own store rankings and product lines.

And since you're so intent on not being ignorant, I'd love your response to the linked articles.

I have no input [atm] beyond pushing the member I quoted to engage with more than a singular non-constructive post but if you wish that I do give some input, I will review the topic and post when I have something to add. My intention was purely moderative.

I'll take you request into consideration.
