i5 10400F 100% usage in games (fps drops) Urgent!

Hi, so I bought a brand new pc 2 days ago:

I510400f

16gb 2666hz cl16 (2 sticks)

msi 6600xt

500gb nvme

biostar h510 motherboard

So yesterday everything was fine playing warzone, avrg fps 120 at lowe setting 1080 without stuttering or fps drops, GPU usage 95-100% and CPU 65-80%

Today, I dont know what happened, in warzone fps around 100 with heavy fps drops to 70. GPU usage not going over 80% and cpu usage around 100%.

Tried elden ring same issue with fps drops GPU usage 75% but cpu usage was 50%.

The screen shot is while playing warzone

maybe it's because of the shitty VRM on your biostar motherboard

check the Cinebench R20 secion, I think you are getting power throttled,
why do you even buy a H510 board to pair it with a Core i5 anyway

Is windows updating in the background? 40% idle usage looks excessive.

Download Intel XTU and see if that says what causes throttling. But yeah, H510 usually isn't amazing, and anything from Biostar is garbage so I'm pretty sure it's the board.

warzone at 50% but the total is near 100%, something's not not showing on task manager is using 4-%!! right after it discord at 4%. Same with memory, shows 90% usage while warzone only taking 8.5Gb. it shows 16gb in task manager. How is that?!image.thumb.png.deb9d4e8d9b509d9113601b5fba2b020.png

Well on that screenshot the total is 61%, not 100... What's there when it's 100?

Also your RAM is completely full, so the system is likely swapping which will cause hitches.

I found in task manager details process called "system idle process" which  is taking half of ram and most of cpu! I installed Malwarebytes, found 14 malware and removed them , but still nothing changed. I cant end it or do anything to it. Here's a screenshot

yes exactly, but open the other pic and u see the graph showing that cpu is at 100% most of the time. The game is using 60% but something else (idle system process) is using the other 40% along with 8gb ram

Ps; when I exit warzone, cpu utilization is back to 3% and temp 32c. But I can still see it in task manager details

Yes so single bench is almost the same, while total is 10% lower, but power draw is normal (75-85watt) and temp is 65-75 at full load

So this is my 2nd post on the matter. In it I will include all the methods that other members proposed but didn't work.

Hi, so I bought a brand new pc 2 days ago:

I510400f

Hikvision 16gb 2666hz cl16 (2 sticks)

msi 6600xt

500gb nvme

biostar h510 motherboard

So yesterday everything was fine playing warzone, avrg fps 120 at lowe setting 1080 without stuttering or fps drops, GPU usage 95-100% and CPU 65-80%

Today, I dont know what happened, in warzone fps around 100 with heavy fps drops to 70. GPU usage not going over 80% and cpu usage around 100%. When I exit the game, both CPU and GPU usage goes to 2-3%.r Tied bf1 same issue.

The screen shot is while playing warzone at max settings with resolution upscaled to 1440p.

(Did it on purpose to avoid CPU bottleneck, I play at 1080p low settings)

So far I tried:

-Running utx 2.0 but everything is ok and no thermal throttling, CPU power while running benchmark was 65w and temp 75c

-closing all background applications

- Malwarebytes found 14 torjan and malware and quarantine them but still nothing changed

Malwarebytes found 14 trojans and other malware?

If it were me, I'd probably back up some raw data and then reformat my PC, cuz it's infected.

Stay away from sketchy sites and downloads, yo.

You could try Cinebench R23 and compare your scores to your CPU on the charts?  If you're coming up short, you def have background stuff getting in the way.

depends on how smart it is.  It could wait for a CPU Load, so it doesn't draw attention.

Ok but I thought maybe a new topic with updated solutions that didn't work can narrow down the proposed solutions.

sorry for any inconvenience
