Looking to  spend betwen 1,500 and 3,000 US dollars for a desktop. Main purpose is for gaming and learning cyber security. Can someone provide some recommendations?  Happy to provide more information if asked.

Do you own a monitor already?  Resolution guides the build, a bit.

 

You have a VERY wide budget, so you need to understand what level machine you want/need as you can overspend quite a bit.

 

A $1500 system will be a very nice 1440p machine, where as a $3000 system will get you the very best CPU/GPU combo in existence right now for a 4K experience.
