Help me choose a gpu.

DZONS

My computer specs:

CPU: Ryzen 5 3500x

GPU: RX 570 4gb

PSU: Deepcool 500W 80+ Gold

RAM: 1x16gb T-Force (not sure about the speed of the ram)

Motherboard: Asus TUF B450M-PLUS GAMING

What I want:

So I'm looking to upgrade my GPU, and I'm came here for help, I want to hear your guys opinions on what should i buy. I've been the RTX 3050, RX 6600 XT, GTX 1080 Ti GPUs, but i want to hear your opinions.

My budget is around 500$. And another question I had was, will I have to upgrade my PSU to buy a bigger card as mentioned before.

I plan on using this gpu for school work and gaming on the side, games like Call of Duty: Warzone, and some newer titles like God of War etc. Expecting to play games at 1920x1080 at Med-High settings.

Thank you already beforehand. 🙂

What are you planning on doing with the GPU? Monitor/Resolution is important to.

Server: AMD Athlon PRO 3125GE, 32 GB 2667 MHz DDR4 ECC, TrueNAS Core 13.0-U5.1

Home Laptop: Intel Core i5-L16G7, 8 GB 4267 MHz LPDDR4x, Windows 11 Home 22H2 x86_64

RAM: 1x16gb

You would see a pretty big performance uplift from a second stick of ram. Dual channel provides a huge bandwidth benefit.

The 6600 XT is faster than the 3050 when it comes to gaming, so I recommend that if those two are the options you're facing.

But instead, I would recommend a 6600 and some upgraded ram

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

A 3050 would hardly even be an upgrade from the 570 you have, not worth doing anything at that point.  What kind of performance are you getting with the 570, and what are you trying to improve upon?

I edit the shit out of my posts.  Refresh before you respond.
