if you did exactly what he did yes? / ?ish.... but it will be so slow and have such a long delay it will most likely cause the system to crash. Even in there use case they showed it can be done but its no where near the same as actually adding system ram. memory really has to be as fast and responsive as possible. Even when you run out of ram and it writes to the page file on the drive there is a noticable drop in performance, adding wifi just compounds the issue even further.

Technically yes. But the connection is typically the slowest link, so it doesn't matter whether there's a HDD, SSD or RAM on the other end. You'll be limited by the speed and latency of the network connection.

 

On a 10 Gbps connection (1.25 GB/s) you should be able to notice a difference between a HDD and an SSD, but you're a long way from RAM speeds (DDR4 > 20 GB/s), let alone latency (milliseconds rather than nanoseconds, i.e. 1,000,000 times as much)
