wipe ssd to use in new pc

Mainix

Hey guys,

I am currently building a new pc and I plan on reusing my old sata ssd. I want to wipe it and then freshly install windows on it. What is the best way to do that? Unfortunately my uefi doesn't have an option for this. And I don't want to install windows on it while it is in my old pc.

If you have a Windows install CD/DVD or USB flash drive, new PC should be able to boot to install Windows with that. My new build did. Took a few for it to offer the option to boot from DVD/CD, but it worked like a charm. It asked to kill the existing partition and create a new one, other than that, it took care of itself.

Due to the above, I've likely revised posts <30 min old, and do not think as you do.
