Cracked monitor screen replacement

Sub2pewdiepie

my gf's brother recently cracked his scepter 24 in 144 hz monitor in a late night gaming session I have since taken the back of the monitor off and found the sticker on the back of the panel

The sticker reads

INNO&CN

Module: LSM236HP02-M04

107.001.00531

*Barcode*

S5A2G-BADM23620B070739

I was wondering if anybody could help me to find a replacement screen in order to fix the monitor for him as it would make his year and he wouldnt have to face the wrath of his parents lolol

Thank you in advance

almost always cheaper to replace the whole monitor, easier at least.

When looking up the monitor on amazon, I saw this... Hilarious how they chopped in some airpods... lol I hate it.

See if you can find a panel off eBay, otherwise yeah just replace it. 1080p 24" 144Hz panels can be had for cheep cheep in 2022. I picked up an LG GP850 off Amazon for about $350 last year, and if they're that cheap, you can find a 24" job for under $200 I bet.

Me, I'm more to letting the kid receive some hell.

So that he'll less likely to repeat the same shit again.

Then I'll use the budget (if I'm the one buying it), to curry favor with my gf using another way. 😜

But yep, all I could find is LSM236HP02-G or LSM236HP02-M02

There is approximately 99% chance I edited my post

You're gonna be spending about $150 US or more on a panel if you can find one at all (everywhere I've seen selling them is "contact us for a quote", meaning if you have to ask, you probably can't afford it). For ~$10 more you could buy a brand new monitor and not have to deal with replacing the panel. You're better off just getting a new monitor, or quite honestly, a used one. I've seen 1080P 144Hz panels regularly sell for under $100 US locally, so it's worth taking a look to see if you can get one in decent shape to replace the one he broke. More than likely whatever you find will be a better quality monitor anyway.

Your monitor pretty much has to be in the $1000+ value range to warrant repair--vs just buying a new display.  All those poor TV's from "Wii have a problem" didn't get screen replacements; they got binned.
