In keeping with the theme of the title , I think the amount of criticism cases get is stupid. Like dust filters and grommets and user friendliness layouts and such. If its a box and it moves air thats all that matters to me.

True chads build in the motherboard box. It's free, looks cool, and for more airflow cut off the lid. IO shield you can just cut into the back.

True chads just use a laptop because they realize after dozens of iterations of different PCs that it’s all an inconvenient waste of money and any desktop is huge.

I prefer desktops becuase I can get my 5 display outputs, 4 audio in/5 audio out, 8x USB 3, 5x USB 2... that sort of thing but yes if you care about your PC being small that much just get a laptop

Still a cool concept case, just way overpriced for what it is (the Flex PSU isn't even included at that price)...

Do some cases still come with grommets? I thought that trend died with modern water cooling and AIOs.

I'm trying to find that specific power supply but can't seem to find one with the modular connectors. Can you all tell us where you purchased it? The silicone cables that the
"case" comes with are cool but there don't seem to be any currently-for-sale flex power supplies that can use them except the one you're using.

My first guess is it came with the case for review.

 

I did some searching, and I don't see it existing either.

delta "dps-500ab-10 A" doesn't come up with any useful results.

@carlwIf you're looking for a good, quiet FlexATX PSUs, there's not many choices, especially with modular cables. Matter of fact there's only one , the legendary Enhance ENP-7660B, and these 2 based on it: Extreme CAT MF 600F and MF 700F (sometimes named 7660B and 7760B).

 

The box for the Extreme Cats has a butterfly on it, and the two versions should be platinum(there's others).

 

Either aliexpress, or taobao using a forwarding company like Superbuy. Superbuy is probably the best option.

 

These are the only FlexATX that are modular, quiet enough, both fan wise and coil whine, and good enough component quality wise (the two CAT have somewhat downgraded components compared to Enhance platform they're based, but greatly reduced coil whine).

 

another option (involving possible coil whine, so u need to compensate with higher fan speed of fans other than PSU fan) is to just get a customized original Enhance which has higher quality components, and geekstore offers 3 different wattages and versions, and u can choose cable length, etc, but it will get expensive fast xD

Do you think the 500w "all black" Velcase PSU/FSP FX500G will also have coil whine? The price seems reasonable, although it's only silver rated.

^^ Maybe this is what is shown in the video, as the custom-length cables are described as "Super Flexible Silicone Wire 20 AWG".

But what length for the modular cables? Options are 200/250/300/350mm.
